…teaching me to think conceptually…

The USC Landscape Architecture program makes you capable of executing the Big Idea in a project. Landscape architecture is more than choosing plants and laying out irrigation: it should be greater than the sum of its parts. The USC program has prepared me for the profession by teaching me to think conceptually about a project, and how to tie this approach into its smaller parts. This is a hard thing to teach. I feel immensely grateful to the entire program and its faculty for imparting this kind of knowledge.
